Beautiful large oak sculpture of Saint John the Baptist.
The Saint carries the lamb on his arm and is dressed in camel skin and a long cloak.
Most of its original polychrome paint.
Height: 83cm.
16th century.
Origin: Belgium - Mosan region.

The lamb's head and one hand were lost to time.
Condition consistent with age.
