"Holy Trinity In Gilded And Carved Wood – 18th Century"

A moving piece, this large panel offering us a rich representation of the Trinity. Two angels in strong relief are in adoration in front of a central monstrance whose Glory is surrounded by six angels. Below this monstrance supported by three other angels, the reclining Agnus Dei watches over the seals of the scroll of the Apocalypse. Holy sacrament of the monstrance and Lamb symbolize Christ.
God the Father in the clouds as it should be, governs the world with the help of the Holy Spirit represented by a dove.
Dimensions of 80 cm high by 60 cm wide.
Condition of use. Note some lack of gilding, two wings reattached, old xylophages.
