The Holy Family and two angels, oil on canvas, dimensions 61 cm x 77 cm, with its very beautiful Italian carved wooden frame, dimensions 81 cm x 97 cm, by Bartolomeo Schedoni and workshop, Italy at the very beginning of the 17th century. This rather rare subject in Italian painting represents the Holy Family during the flight into Egypt surrounded by two angels who came to feed them, we can see the Virgin stretching out her hand towards one of the angels who offers her fruit. Bartolomeo Schedoni is an Italian painter of the early Baroque born in Modena in 1578 and died in Parma in 1615.
