"Clown By Genevieve Granger "
Superb clown with a very art deco enamel patina. The artist Geneviève Granger was a student of André Paul Arthur Massoulle (1851-1901) and Ernest Henri Dubois (1863-1930). She has been a member of the Society of French Artists since 1899. She obtained an honorable mention in the Salon of 1899 and a third class medal at the Salon of 1901. A work exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay. She was known for her medals and active as a ceramist.
