Massive wooden sculpture which is made with the Japanese 'Shou sugi ban' technique, a traditional Japanese burning technique. Part of the studio collection of Roland LAVIANNE (1948-2022). Various heights. This collection was acquired in collaboration with STUER and PSCHANTIQUES. Simplifying the features in the extreme, Roland LAVIANNE develops a powerful play on volumes, shapes and lines, using the light as a key construction material.
