Minton porcelain tea cup (1st manufacture 1810 -1815). In search of a porcelain offering the same qualities as those of hard porcelain, English porcelain makers created "bone china" bone porcelain (around 50 % sheep bones).The hand-painted decoration is most often a copy of those of the Compagnie des Indes.
