pair of Swiss views: Tells-chapel / Lake Lucerne and Grindelwald with a view of Mount Wetterhorn was executed by the famous Austrian landscape painter and traveler Hubert Sattler (1817-1904), who received his recognition for his panoramic views during his travels around the world. : Europe, Asia Minor, North Africa and North America. He studied with his father Johann Michael Sattler, then with Emil Jakob Schindler at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. in 1897 he became an honorary citizen of the city of Salzburg. His travel views achieve high results in international auctions. For example, “View of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives”, 36 x 62 cm, arrived at Sotheby’s London on 11/24.
