"Louis XV Style Games Table - Late 19th Century"
Louis XVI Style games table, dating from the end of the 19th century, still showing a seller's label below the central box annotated "E.MARTIN decorator in Lyon", therefore probably a Lyonnais work, characteristic of the larger productions of HACHE in Grenoble. It has 2 drawers, each opening on a different side, equipped with a removable top decorated on one side with simple marquetry, and on the other with a checkerboard of 10x10 squares in 2 types of wood. The top is winged, the legs are curved, and the interior is a tric trac game.
