Very pretty portrait of a pensive young woman with a landscape with a tumultuous sky as a background, highlighting the vibrant colors of the foreground. This work is signed Louise Jallasfon and dated 1859. This pastel was originally perfectly framed, a space was created between the glass and the subject in order to preserve it as much as possible. Total height: 75 cm total width: 65 cm View height: 58 cm view width: 48 cm The gilded leaf frame has a small restoration defect in the gilding (see photo)
