Pair of Louis XVI and 18th century armchairs. Excellent original condition of carpentry and tapestry for this very beautiful pair in carved and patinated beech wood. Note the fine details on the backs as well as the seats, signs of the master cabinetmaker's mastery. Likewise, the upholsterer respected traditional rules by upholstering the seats with straps and the backs with a classic gingham check fabric. In summary, a beautiful pair to position in symmetry in a beautiful interior and to use on a daily basis given their excellent state of robustness.
