Pretty Engraved Blonde Horn Snuff Box, 1830 Period, Patronymic

Charming Popular Art snuffbox, its owner, Claude Plathey, had a pretty home and was proud to show it to his acquaintances;
It is in shape of book, opening by upper leaf, it is very finely engraved with a compass of circles in garlands below and on sides, the whole is decoratively studded.
French work, probably 1st third of 19th century.
Beautiful object, good patina, with wear, trace of burn, and the hinge, which still works, needs to be serviced if we still want to use it.
