"Pair Of Silver Church Cruets. France 1819-1838"
Pair of cruets with circular feet and embossed ovoid bodies on which a different decoration is chiseled on each of them. On the wine cruet: a frieze of vines with bunches of grapes in relief and on the water cruet: bouquets of rushes. The two cruets also received a corola of palm leaves and a frieze of water leaves on the foot and the top of the belly. The spout is flared and has high curved edges. The attached handle is in the shape of a crozier decorated with acanthus leaves and rosettes.
