Superb floor lamp in blond cherry wood composed of a round molded base and a tapered shaft, enhanced with decorative elements in gilded bronze with stylized floral motifs. The whole thing is mounted with an umbrella dome lampshade in red and gold colors, with long fringes and abstract floral Art Nouveau motifs, France, circa 1920. By Paul Follot (1877-1958), a renowned French decorative artist in Art Nouveau and Art Deco. His works are notably exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay and at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In very good shape. Restored base, new finish. Electricity redone. New lampshade.
