Important Asian Cabinet in carved wood, Vietnam or China, Circa 1880 Superb Asian Cabinet in carved Chinese mahogany (toona sinensis) and inlaid wood. Carved with plant and animal motifs: 2 bats facing each other holding coins (symbol of good fortune, happiness and longevity), heron, hawk catching a fish. Very beautiful bronze furnishings: keyholes in dragon heads, beautiful drawer handles. 3 inlaid drawers, 1 cupboard with 2 carved doors Key and lock OK. Very good condition, small gaps, new polished waxed finish. Indochina (Vietnam) or South China.
