"Large Beautiful 19th Century Table Planter, In Flowered Silver Porcelain, Black And Gold Bamboo Feet"
Large in size, this imposing and beautiful table planter rests on four intertwined black bamboo-style legs with touches of gold at the end, the handles at each end are golden and in a beautiful ornamental style like the whole piece in porcelain decorated on a band silver with well-colored flowers which stand out well against this unusual silver background. There is a large central motif surrounded by two groups of flowers on each side and at the end at each handle, a group on either side. The quadrilobed shape has a beautiful movement, well decorated with gilded borders and a slightly curved bottom; the height of the tower 10 cm allows you to successfully compose a beautiful floral arrangement. This is an unusual piece from a manufacturer with expertise because it is important because large pieces when fired are complicated to make. The decor, the photos will leave you with an opinion to judge the high quality by the detail, the variety of the groups of flowers, the finesse of the brush, the talent of the artists who contributed to creating this large planter from the end of Louis Philippe to Napoleon III (around 1840), amazes me, a wonderful and decorative piece for a successful centerpiece or a beautiful console or piece of furniture....
