Antique Rose Medallion Porcelain Cabinet Cup And Saucer, French 19th Century. Chinese Style.

An unususal  French Famille Rose medallion porcelain cabinet cup & saucer decorated in the Chinese style popular in the nineteenth century. The mock characters are pure fantacy and mean nothing in Chinese, but the painting and particularly the use of the correct colours could easily be mistaken for the genuine article.
