"Bronze Sculpture Jules Moigniez Dog Hunting Spaniel Stop 19th Century"
Green patina bronze sculpture representing a stationary hunting dog (a spaniel), signed J. Moigniez* on the terrace, from the 19th century. This sculpture is in good condition. Signed see photos. Note: slight wear and tear, see photos. *Jules Moigniez (1835-1894): animal sculptor (Ec fr). Student of Cornoléra; he debuted at the 1855 show. He obtained an honorable mention in 1859 and was present at the Universal Exhibition of 1878. The Château de Compiègne keeps a “Pointing dog with pheasant” from him.
