On a round base, the foot is decorated with a garland of ivy leaves, an applied cross and quatrefoil motifs in crosspieces. The ring is chiseled with round motifs. The cup is placed on palmette patterns. Gold metal lining under the base.
A piece by master goldsmiths Charles Frederic Berger and Henri Nesme. Active in Lyon, at 122 rue Saint Georges.
Their hallmark, the letters B and N, a chalice between the letters was inscribed in 1889 and crossed out in 1924.
