"Napoleon III Furniture In Boulle Marquetry"
Furniture at support height from the Napoleon III period in Boulle marquetry on a red tortoiseshell background complemented by finely chiseled gilded bronzes. Rare model inlaid on all sides animated by a decoration in the style of the great ornamentalist Jean Berain representing an abundant play of floral motifs, foliage, lambrequins, arabesques, fleurons and canal friezes in frames in large flat areas of ebony with tin nets. The facade opens with a large door revealing a mahogany interior arranged with shelves. The top is topped with a white Carrara marble top. Beautiful authentic 19th century furniture offered in satisfactory original condition, bronze to be revived. Dimensions: 93 cm long X 105 high X 40 cm deep.
