Object description :

"Pair Of Torches, In Pewter. 18th Century."
Shaft and barrel molded with sides and knots, screwed onto a scalloped base with stepped terraces. Height: 24 cm. Diameter at the base: 14.3 cm. Silky, speckled patina. Small scratches and wear in the corners. Good condition, including threads. Period: 18th century. Free shipping by COLISSIMO for mainland France. Let us remember, out of respect for the lexicography, that these are FLAMBEAUX, and not CANDLES as we see written too often, which contributes to the impoverishment of the vocabulary by globalizing it.
