Delicate oil on panel of an elegant woman with a fan in the 18th century signed by Henri De Coene in a pretty Louis XVI style frame with a gilded wooden bead. Collectible wax stamp on the back of the painting. Henri De Coene is a painter known for his genre scenes. He was born on October 13, 1798 in NEDERBRAKEL in East Flanders and died in Brussels on April 25, 1866. A student of Jacques-Louis David, he became a professor at the Brussels Academy and had a workshop. Frame dimension Height 34 CM Width 28 CM
