The evening walk.

You can listen to seductive words:
But from a bouquet do not accept the homage,
Often Love is hidden in the flowers.

He engraved after Raphael, Gérard, Dow, Ribera, Douais and Freudeberger. He supplied plates for the French Museum and executed a large number of portraits. He also exhibited at the Salon of 1793 and had connections in Spain, in fact he was a member of the academies of Madrid and Valencia.
Sigismund Freudeberg or Freudenberger (1745-1801)
Painter and engraver born in Bern, after working in Basel with Emmanuel Handmann he came to Paris. For eight years he studied the customs and types of Parisian life, following the advice of Wille, Greuze, Boucher and Roslin. Freudenberger retired to Switzerland in 1773 and specialized in the representation of intimate, genre scenes in the manner of Lancret and Boucher, as well as Swiss landscapes in oil and pastel.
