"Louis XV Style Chandelier In Gilt Bronze"
Louis XV style chandelier with three eagles. Period first half 19th century. In finely chiseled and gilded bronze, it has twelve arms of light. The richly crafted decor is largely inspired by the rococo style. It is composed in the center of swirling scrolls welcoming three eagles around a baluster column decorated with shells, feathers, falling flowers and foliage scrolls. The base is in the shape of a rock decorated with shells. The acanthus leaf sconces are very active. The binets are decorated with water leaves and the cups with openwork shells. Not electrified.
