Louis Morin organized shadow shows on themes in the evening at the Grévin museum varied, accompanied by music by Gaston Paulin. At Chat Noir he created drawings of the Venice Carnival by Maurice Vaucaire for the shadow theater. From January 1900 to January 1901, he coordinated and illustrated the Revue des quat'isons for the publisher Paul Ollendorff, producing more than 400 illustrations3. From November 1900, he contributed to the publications of the publisher and binder Charles Meunier. He received the gold medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris. He was the founder of the Society of Humorous Cartoonists in 1904 and created, in addition to his work as an illustrator, the mural of the dome of the Printemps store — destroyed in a fire — figures for the shadow theater show of the cabaret Le Chat noir and participates in L'Assiette au Beurre and Le Figaro Illustrated, among others.
