Smoking kit in black patinated steel representing a bird, a match holder fixed on its tail, its beak serving as a cigar cutter and holding an ashtray between its legs. Germany, circa 1910-20. Hugo Berger (known as Goberg).
Hugo Berger opened his first metallurgical factory in Schmalkalden in Germany in 1895 where he manufactured ornamental pieces in an artisanal manner.
