"Nicola Issaiev (1891-1977) Cubist Composition"
Nicolas Issaiev, born in Ukraine in 1891, was a painter, graphic designer and theater decorator who studied in Odessa, Kharkiv and at the Ranson Academy in Paris. After emigrating to Belgrade in 1919 and working at the national theater, he settled in Paris in 1925 and exhibited his works in numerous international exhibitions. He illustrated works by great authors and participated in major exhibitions until his death in Paris in 1977.Oil on board.
