Flintlock, Miquelet style, barrel with long sides with thunder, then round, cut and chiseled into a bead in the middle. Platinum finely engraved with foliage and a dragon's head and below a wolf's head. Signed in the spring: FEO Trigger guard with brass inlay and finger rest. Beautiful brass fittings on the underside, top and cap, chiseled with rocailles and chevrons. Frame equipped with a metal belt hook. Walnut wood with beautiful patina. (small, minor joints). Steel rod. Most certainly made in Ripoli around 1780. Good working condition and the plate. Material: walnut wood, brass, iron.
