A student of Gustave Moreau, Fernand Cormon and Paul Gervais, he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français and became a member of the French Federation of Artists (1927 and 1929). Officer of Public Education, Croix de Guerre, his works were acquired by the State, by the General Council of the Seine and by the City of Paris. Some are kept in the museums of Rochefort-sur-Mer, Niort, Angoulême and in North America1.
