Louis XVI Chest Of Drawers, Late 18th Century

Original Louis XVI style chest of drawers, from the end of the 18th century. The exterior of the piece of furniture has large fluted pilasters on square, projecting legs, and forward, there are three large pearl-molded drawers, resting on round fluted legs. The headband is decorated with vertical grooves, and in its center a small drawer decorated with Louis XVI style garland. The bronze handles are old, the sides are paneled with daisies in the spandrels. Weathered wood finish. The top is made of natural waxed fruit wood. Restoration of use.
