19th Century: Chinese Statuette/reliquary
China, 19th century: statuette of a warrior standing on a coiled dragon, in black and gold lacquered wood, the right hand brandishing a saber. (Accidents, shortages and restoration). The statuette is also a reliquary, as we can see in the images, the relic is still inside. The helmet is removable. Height 31 centimeters. Expertised by Mrs Alice Jossaume from the Portier firm.
