Mr Alexis de Gabriac. Count Jean Alexis de Cadoine de Gabriac, born May 9, 1811 and died August 31, 1890 at the Château de Lantilly, was a diplomat and great French traveler and Minister Plenipotentiary of France to Mexico from 1854 to 1860, he tried throughout his ministry to convince Count Walewski and Napoleon III of a French intervention in Mexico, which did not arrive until 1861. to end the civil war.
