The box is round, in silver entirely guilloché with patterns of parallel lines and wavelets, forming a radiant decoration on the lid and on the bottom.
Friezes of ivy leaves adorn the edges of the lid.
Strong threads of crossed ribbons outline the base, the top and the lid of the box. They are highlighted by a band of gilded silver.
The inside of the box is vermeil, a very warm pink gold.
The box is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st title before 1973 for 950/°° silver
. Goldsmith's mark: DR and Paris with a domino and two clovers for Eugène Doutre-Roussel. This hallmark is inscribed in 1911 and crossed out in 1913, which allows us to precisely date this box.
Magnificent box remarkable for its large dimensions and its rich guilloche and molded decoration.
