"Rue Sainte Rustique In Montmartre "
Pretty oil on plywood from the 1930s, representing the emblematic rue Sainte Rustique in Montmartre which offers a striking view of the dome of the Sacré Cœur. The technique is typical of the Montmartre painters, who, following the impressionists, created a particular imagery of their neighborhood. The painting is a little dirty, a little cleaning will give it a nice shine and remove a fine scratch. The signature is particularly difficult to read. the frame is from the 50s. panel 41 cm x 51 cm
