Art Deco period display furniture, circa 1925-1930, beautiful cabinetwork in Macassar ebony. This display case opens with two sliding doors to access the main volume fitted out with glass shelves. The bottom is covered in fabric. The lower part has two doors and reveals on the left a block of 4 drawers. The top and bottom corners of the sides are rounded. The main body is surmounted by a tray whose side edges of quarter-circle section are raised, the whole is placed on a slightly openwork base. The handles of the lower doors are made of a cylinder of black wood, the small hinges are oblong and faceted, are made of nickel-plated metal and have a sophisticated design. Macassar ebony is a rare wood, predominantly dark red brown, with lighter veins going towards gold.
