Oil on panel presenting a view of Bidarray in the Basque Country. A recognized artist from the Bordeaux interwar period - the art deco period in Bordeaux with municipal projects entrusted to the city's artists, Pierre Albert Bégaud discovered the Basque landscapes at the end of the 1920s, and in particular the village of Bidarray from which he painted the landscape on numerous occasions. Here the village in the mountains in shades of browns and greens, a work punctuated by valleys, fields and a few traditional dwellings. Dimensions: 46 cm wide, 38 cm high. Work in very good state of conservation (and well framed).
