Born September 7, 1907 in Turin, died there on September 25, 1968. He attended the Accademia Albertina with masters Luigi Onetti, cesare Ferro and later with Guio di Montezemolo. With the latter he learned to penetrate the soul of the Piedmontese landscape, describing it pictorially with a deep sense of lyricism. He participated in major Italian collective exhibitions: Circolo degli Artisti, Arbarello prize with the work 'Ponte sulla Dora' (1946; C.A.I. Prize, silver medal with 'Prelude of blizzard' (1947); Mostra del Bianco e Nero, San Paolo silver medal with Strada del fortino (1952); Concorso Città di Chieri, first prize with Duomo, ora vespertina (1953); Mostra Internazionale dell'Autoritratto, silver medal (1956); Circolo degli Artisti di Torino, Follini prize with Porto di Savonasotto la neve (1958); Commerce Prize of Alessandria, first prize with Mercato di Casale (1962); Narcisi in fiore Competition of Pragelato, first prize (1966); Exhibition of Floral Compositions at Valentino, gold medal (1966); Painting Exhibition City of Cumiana, first prize and gold medal with Autunno in Val di Susa (1966). He has held solo exhibitions in various Italian cities.
