Object description :

"Polychrome Reliquary Bust XVIIth Century"

Reliquary bust in carved polychrome wood, from the 17th century. Very beautiful polychromy in original fine gold. No apparent recent restoration. Except for the left corner of the base which was broken and glued back together. The rear hatch and the front glasswork are period. Some chips and wear on the base of the base. The cracked ploychromia of the face and neck is also original. We notice the movement of a drape on the bust. "In his juice"
