VERY RARE FINE 19th C. EARTHENWARE PLATE FROM THE CREIL ET MONTEREAU MANUFACTURE. DECOR BY THE ENGRAVING ARTIST: CHARLES HAMLET. SUPERB FANCY MARK THAT HE APPLIED ON THE JAPANESE PLATE AND WHICH COMES FROM PLATE 11 OF VOLUME 6 (ill. 17 p. 18) photo attached. VERY BEAUTIFUL ENGRAVING, TRANSPARENT GLAZE. PLATE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. VERY RARE. some rare and small scratches.
