Beautiful miniature representing a young woman playing the harpsichord
French school, circa 1770
Size: 6x5cm
Oil, gouache on ivory
In a modern framing  

The young woman is shown turned three-quarters, she plays the harpsichord while turning the page of the score with her other hand. She is dressed in a purple dress which is tightened by a blue belt at the level of the waist, her chest is covered by a white headscarf, her hair styled  "à la conseilleur".
