"Small Samurai Bow And Quiver - Edo Period (1603-1868)."
Small wooden arch 56 cm long with an old repair. The quiver is made of gold leather and horn, it contains 10 arrows with iron tips but the feathers are tired, they may need to be re-feathered. The stand has very beautiful horn and gilded leather work. The arrows are 40 cm long and one is broken. It was a bow used in palanquins. My is that of the MAEDA family EDO period. Good condition. Dimensions: 60 x 19 x 6.5 cm. Sold with support. Dimensions with support: 64 x 36 x 6.5 cm.
