"Chinese Folding Spectacles With Their Wooden Case"
Late 18th century, brass, white glasses, wooden case and black veneer with cord. Folding glasses with rounded bridge with frontal support, the frame has a double side perforation to attach a thin lace which held the glasses on the ears. In their original round case, this one a little worn in places, lenses scratched in places.
