"Louis XV / Régency Style Flat Desk"
Elegant Regency/Louis XV style belted desk with drawers in rosewood marquetry. Double-sided desk with false drawers on the back. The rectangular top is surrounded by a brass ingot mold and lined with fawn-colored morocco. It has 3 drawers: the middle one is recessed and the other 2 follow the shape of the belt. The keyholes and hands are in chiseled bronze. The 4 arched crowbars end in bronze sabots. Hungarian oak fund. Dovetail assembly. Traces of old gilding. Key. Original leather with traces of wear and scratches (good condition). All in very good condition with a beautiful quality of marquetry.
