"Oil On Canvas - Port In Brittany - Early 20th Century - Signed Bessonnat"

Very pretty painting representing a view of a port in Brittany with in the foreground two Breton women busy in front of a fisherman's boat. The light in this oil on canvas is excellently treated and we easily think of that of Ferdinand du Puigaudeau when observing it. The work was probably produced at the very beginning of the 20th century (see back of the canvas). It is signed Bessonnat lower right.
