Nicolas Sorokine is an artist of Russian origin born in Kazan in 1892 and died in Lyon. He was part of the Russian Avant-Garde and was known for his work on fabrics in the wake of collectivist painters like Rozanova, Bourliouk working for Decorative Arts in the 1920s.
