Blued octagonal barrel, with “ADDRESS COL. COLT - LONDON; control marks on left side and on underside of serial number 7334.
Open frame in white polished steel, marked COLT PATENT on the left side and on the underside of serial no. 7334.
Five-chamber cylinder, engraved with stagecoach attack, COLT'S PATENT marking, serial number 7334 and control marks. Single action.
Checkered walnut stock with WP initials in hand.
Very good mechanical performance. Barrel reblued by gunsmith.
Original screw-down walnut case with brass plate on top. Swivel hook lock; lock with key. The interior is lined with red felt, with applied instructions under the lid.
The box contains a bullet mold stamped Colt's Patent; a powder flask stamped C&JW HAWKSLEY, a James Dixon & Sons Sheffield grease pot, an ELEYBRO LONDON primer box, the original disassembly key and cleaning rod. 527 x 16,5)
