RARE bisque sculpture representing a reclining nude woman, from the Art Deco period, on a wooden base. Signed on the terrace Ary Bitter* Circa 1930 France 20th Century * Ary Jean Léon Bitter, born in Marseille on May 29, 1883 and died on June 14, 1973 in Paris, is a French sculptor. Member of the Society of French Artists, student of Jules Coutan Ary Bitter won a silver medal at the Salon of French Artists of 1921 then the gold medal in 1924 before being placed out of competition.
