Louis XVI Period Chest Of Drawers

Beautiful mahogany chest of drawers with projections. Three drawers on the front, decoration of tables and discs. Front uprights with cut sides, rear uprights with projections, ribbed grooves. Two-panel sides, sheathed feet. Ornamentation in gilded bronze: spandrel flowers, falling handles with laurel and lictor's beams, medallion keyholes with interlacing and lanceolate leaves, rings and clogs with pearls and heart-raises. The top drawer lock controls the other two. Top of veined white marble, openwork gallery of arches, pearl friezes. Oak frame, varnished with a pad. Traces of stamp and jurande.
