Old fan. The leaf is painted in gouache with a superb scene representing Apollo and his Muses. Magnificent mother-of-pearl frame pierced, engraved, burgundy, and applied with gold. Slight wear on the leaf visible mainly on the back but the whole remains in very good condition. France, circa 1775.
