Very beautiful cup - openwork shuttle in Limoges porcelain. The crosspieces are entirely decorated on the outside with beautiful patterns composed of flowered foliage and small roses on the inside. The base is decorated with a floral garland on a soft pink background, contained between two gold threads. The contour of the collar is scalloped and also decorated with a gold net as well as the two grips. The interior base of our porcelain is entirely covered with a pretty marbled work in shades of green and topped on the interior body with another bluish marbled work. This magnificent work was carried out by the decorator L. Buisson, well known in the 1930s-1940s. The bottom of our cup bears his signature and the inscription "Limoges July 8, 1939."
