A very fine broken fan in engraved, gilded and silvered mother-of-pearl with flowers, latticework and foliate scrolls in the Louis XVI style.
* Circa 1880-1890
Width open: 45.5 cm / Height closed: 24.5 cm
The richly embroidered lace veil is decorated on one side with a romantic scene of an elegant woman on a bench in a park with trees and flowers in front of a château. The other side is plain and has no particular decoration apart from the very fine work on the very elaborate leading edge.
In good condition, but please note that two strands are broken near the axis (see last photo on this subject); please note that there is nothing missing.
